Election time - We have a duty to vote consistent with life

As the elections loom on the horizon, it is critical that we properly prepare and form ourselves for this important civic duty. As citizens, we have a duty to do good and avoid evil. Those of us who are believers are called by our baptism to live out our Faith in the public square and to influence our neighbors for the good. Our decisions therefore at the ballot box are one of many responsibilities we have both to our nation and to our God.

We cannot openly or privately support those who would erode the culture of life. We cannot support or vote fro pro-abortion candidates when there is a pro-life candidate running for that office. In Arizona the choices are clear in the state and federal races. Pro-life candidates must be supported.

To find out who is pro-life, go to the Arizona Right to Life website.

For additional information on candidates, go to the Arizona Catholic Conference website or the AFA Action website.

In any event, exercise you franchise. VOTE.
